McCue Engineering Contractors is hiring skilled workers to construct water treatment equipment and work on a vapour barrier installation team.

Job Description

Work will involve constructing water treatment equipment and working as part of a Liquid Boot vapour mitigation system crew. Consideration will be given to applicants with experience in construction, trades or water treatment system installation/operation. Work will be in Metro Vancouver with the possibility of occasional travel in Western Canada.

Responsibilities will be as follows:

Water Treatment System Construction

  • Read and understand construction drawings.
  • Install equipment inside shipping containers.
  • Install 1″ to 8″ PVC piping to interconnect equipment.
  • Follow health & safety policies.

Liquid Boot Spray Crew

  • Clean and maintain air-operated pumps on a Liquid Boot installation team.
  • Rolling out and cutting liner (some lifting required).
  • Assist sprayer with light construction duties (moving small diameter hoses, using a leaf blower, sweeping, etc.).
  • Follow health & safety policies.


In addition to a valid drivers licence, applicants should have experience and/or training in one or more of the following areas:

  • General construction.
  • Industrial piping, Municipal piping or lawn sprinkler installation.
  • Mechanical, Millwright or pump maintenance.

Previous experience with water treatment equipment would be an asset. Emergency Level 1 First Aid certification would be an asset.
