McCue Engineering Contractors Slo-Pitch softball team made a run for the Environmental Cup on Saturday but fell short in the final, capturing 2nd place in the 8 team tournament. With a number of key players out (at a mine site), McCue still managed a strong showing in the first three games until finally succumbing to the heat and fried chicken as the afternoon wore on. McCue finished 3rd in the regular season.
