McCue was retained to design a soil vapour mitigation system for a new multi floor commercial development in Vancouver, British Columbia. The development is occurring on a property contaminated by a historical dry cleaning operation. The development falls under Vancouver’s Heritage Action Plan and the system design had to comply with heritage requirements for the building design. McCue worked with the environmental consultant, building engineers, architects and developer to integrate the system design into the building design.
McCue engineers are serving as the Engineer of Record to support a risk based Certificate of Compliance under which the development is allowed to occur.
