MPE & SVE System, Tanker Truck Spill, Highway 97, Vernon, BC

We installed a multi phase extraction and soil vapour extraction system at a fuel spill site along a section of Highway 97, just 25 kilometers north of Vernon. McCue constructed wellheads and installed all of the pipeworks, connecting four MPE and five SVE wells to the remediatian equipment.

Our scope of work included:

  • The excavation and installation of 2” and 4” PVC header piping
  • Installation of 9 steel roadboxes
  • Equipment placement
  • Connection of the equipment to the well network
  • System start-up and optimization

Due to the remote location of the site, treated water was discharged to a concrete drywell designed and installed by McCue.
