Systems manufactured by McCue have never failed to treat water and wastewater to the applicable standards. We are dedicated to ensuring our water & wastewater treatment plants do their job. We can’t afford to fail. Our reputation is too important to us.
Our customers move fast and expediting delivery is at the core or our success. Our design/build times are typically half as long as our competitors. There is always more than one way to complete a project, and our flexibility and ability to pivot allows us to meet tight schedules.
Our water & wastewater treatment plant commissioning times are typically a fraction of our competitors’ because we don’t need the extra time on site. The equipment works; we have been honing our craft for a long time. We know what we’re good at, and we stick to what we know. If we provide a proposal, it’s because we know the work is within our capabilities.

Our Joint Health & Safety Committee includes engaged representatives from owners, senior managers, trades and a dedicated H&S Manager to ensure all voices are heard and that we are able to adapt and change our policies to a rapidly changing world. Our Health & Safety standards exceed industry standards, but if a project site has a higher standard we follow the higher standard. No questions.

We’re proud to be Western Canada’s choice for mine water treatment, but why does it matter to you?
In 2021, we conducted a study to understand how our spending shapes our business and economy, and the results were eye-opening. Around two-thirds of the total project value benefited local BC businesses with 70% of the investment staying in Canada.
We recognize the importance of buying local and how buying local supports our province. Local spending means money and prosperity stays in our communities.
When we manufacture a water treatment plant, we rely on suppliers to provide pipe and valves, pumps and tanks, wiring and lighting, and more. Materials are delivered to our facility in Delta where we construct the plant. Through the years we have developed relationships with many suppliers and we are loyal to our trusted supply chain; the suppliers who provide good service and quality materials.
Many of our suppliers are our neighbours in Delta, and many others are in other municipalities in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. We also buy from suppliers elsewhere in Canada and the USA as supply dictates.

Yes. McCue Engineering Contractors is COR Certified.
Is McCue Engineering Contractors women owned?
McCue Engineering Contractors is 50% women owned, and our Chief Operating Offer (the one who gets things done) is a woman.
Do you train water and wastewater treatment plant operators?
Yes. We offer an EOCP-certified TIPs Training Program focused on water and wastewater treatment operations. While designed to support Indigenous operators, the program is suitable for all water and wastewater treatment plant operators seeking practical, applied training.
Do you manufacture your own water and wastewater equipment?
Yes. McCue Engineering designs and manufactures PANAQUA Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems at our facility in Delta, BC. We also build custom water and wastewater systems for industrial and municipal applications.
Do you rent water and wastewater treatment equipment?
In select cases, we offer long-term equipment rentals for projects involving complex or challenging contaminants. Rental systems are typically custom-built or sourced through trusted partners to ensure the correct treatment solution.
Do you pilot test water and wastewater treatment equipment?
Yes. McCue Engineering has strong expertise in bench-scale and pilot-scale testing of water and wastewater treatment chemistry and processes. Our Delta, BC facility includes a dedicated bench testing laboratory.
Do you develop chemical programs for water and wastewater treatment?
Yes. We develop customized chemical treatment programs for water and wastewater applications using our in-house bench testing laboratory in Delta, BC.
Do you design vapour mitigation systems?
Yes. We design vapour mitigation systems and manage testing and commissioning. While we no longer install these systems, we support clients through the design and verification process.
Is McCue Engineering an environmental consultant?
McCue Engineering is an equipment supplier that works closely with environmental consultants. Our role is to design and supply water and wastewater treatment equipment that meets standards provided by environmental consultants.
Do you provide complete systems or individual components?
We provide both complete water and wastewater treatment systems and individual components, depending on project requirements for industrial and municipal clients.
